General Terms and Conditions for the "15th International Fluid Power Conference 2026"
The following terms and conditions set out the legal rules applicable to the 15th IFK 2026 in Aachen. Participants shall be bound by these terms and conditions upon registering for the Conference and are advised to read and understand these terms carefully before registering. The Organizer will not accept any conditions contradictory to or deviant from these general terms and conditions.

Registration
Registration to the Conference must be done through the online registration system. Participants will receive an automatic confirmation of the registration details. If you do not obtain anything, please send an email to general@ifk-aachen.de to make sure that the Organizer has received your booking. Registration will only be effective on receipt of the registration fee or after authorization of credit card payment. Please notify any corrections to your registration immediately.
Fees and Payment Conditions
All prices quoted for conference participation are calculated on a per-person, per-conference basis.
Accommodation, travel expenses and any other associated costs not specified within the scope of the conference shall be borne directly by the conference participant who shall accordingly settle all accounts related hereto directly with the respective providers.
Note that the system uses time zone GMT+1 as reference.

Booking periods
- Early Bird registration: till 31th October 2025
- Normal registration: 1st November 2025 to 28th February 2026
- Late registration: 1th March 2026 to 9th March 2026
All fees for the conference registration should be paid upon registration clear of all bank charges through a valid credit card (Mastercard or Visa Card)
All payments are made in Euro.
Acknowledgement
Registration and payment will be confirmed by email.
Cancellation policy
- Cancellations received before December 1st, 2025 will be eligible to a refund of 80% of all booking fees.
- Cancellations received before January 19th, 2026 will be eligible to a refund of 50% of all booking fees.
- For cancellations occurring at and after January 19th, 2026 no refunds can be made.
- Bank administration fees and credit card fees will not be refunded.
The participant has the right to appoint a substitute at any time.
The Change of a booking option will be charged with a service fee of 20 Euro.
All cancellations and changes must be administrated through the conference web page.
The Organizer reserves the right to modify the content of the program, the speakers and the times of presentations. If the number of participants is insufficient, the Organizer reserves the right to cancel the conference and all related products and/or services without any liability on his part. In the case of a cancellation by the Organizer participants will be reimbursed the registration fee actually paid.
Photographs, video-streaming, etc.
The Organizer may free of charge and without the further consent of the participants use and release pictures and shots taken of the participants and/or their works (such as posters, excerpts of presentations or lectures) during the Conference for reports of the Conference and announcement of events in future.
Data Use Agreement
Upon registration, the participant agrees to the usage of his or her data by the 15th IFK Organizing Committee for the website, printed and online media to promote the conference. Personal data will not be passed on to third parties. This agreement can be revoked informally by writing an email to: general@ifk-aachen.de.
Liability
The Organizer does not accept liability for the up-to-dateness, correctness and completeness in respect to conference documentation and content.
The Organizer will not assume any responsibility whatsoever for any damage or injury to persons or property during the Conference.
Disputes
All agreements between the Organizer and the Participant and all disputes which may arise between the Organizer and the Participants shall be exclusively subject to German law. Place of jurisdiction is Aachen, Germany.
Severability Clause
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid, the invalidity of that provision will not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of these Terms and Conditions, which shall remain in full force and effect.
